Risk is at the top of the Chesapeake standard at 26″ and 95 lbs. He’s very special to us.  He is co-owned with Connie Cotton and lives in Alabama.

Risk is very much like his mother, a very happy-go-lucky dog with a fabulous temperament. He has never meet a person he didn’t like.  He is a busy dog that is happiest when there’s a job to do. He has a strong love for retrieving and is a companion hunting and family dog.  He gets along well with other dogs both male and female.

Risk is currently training for upper level hunt tests, jumping in dock dog events and is being shown limitedly in the conformation ring. He currently has his UKC Started Retriever and AKC Junior Hunter titles (going 4 for 4 on each) and has earned 3 majors towards his championship in the show ring. Currently, he needs only 1 point to finish his conformation championship.

As time permits, we’ll be finishing his show championship and continue his training so he can run UKC Seasoned and AKC Senior Hunter tests in the near future.
